Max Patch Loop Hike…

The weather was supposed to be really ugly today (March, 18) but I was blessed with an amazing day of hiking! I had a few sprinkles around 1 pm but, other than that, it was a sunny and blue sky with lovely white clouds. I experienced the usual rocks and roots and had to be careful of the puddles, mud, and slippery leaves because of all the rain. My hike was predominantly a long downhill today and I crossed over 10 to 15 water sources which made me smile because there is nothing as calming as a brook cascading down the mountain. It is supposed to be windy, rainy, and cold tonight. I am all snuggled in my sleeping bag for the night and will look forward to another adventure tomorrow. Enjoy the pictures!
