Risky Climb Down…

Yesterday involved some of the most beautiful views and treacherous climbs….up & down! To say it was an exhausting day is putting it mildly…BUT I DID IT!!!!! Crazy gorgeous as we walked the ridge of a mountain for over an hour with serious drop-offs on both sides….then came then rock climb down as we descended from the 4,500ft we had climbed. The camp was simple, next to a stream. A short hike today for a rest at Nantahala Outdoor Center. I begin hiking solo tomorrow and am anxiously excited. I know my God goes before me and will guide my every step…whatever that may be. Keep the prayers going, friends. I am having a great adventure.
